About this event
Safi Sohail and his family have opened a small Indian restaurant in Cottonwood after an odyssey from Pakistan through a Fulbright scholarship to culinary school in Scottsdale, Arizona. After years cooking for American troops in Afghanistan and seven years separated from his family, Safi was able to reunite them and settle in Cottonwood. His story is amazing, inspiring and a credit to his resilience and what has been possible in the United States. Come to lunch on some tasty dishes served family style and let’s visit!
Please register online so we’ll know how many to expect. Carpool if you can and bring $20 in cash which will cover a variety of dishes, basic drinks and a tip. Please let us know by April 10th if you can attend. Questions? Call Charlotte at (602) 377-2057.
Some like it hot and some do not! Where are you on a scale of 1 to 5 for spiciness? Please indicate when you register so we can order the appropriate quantities of each.
