✍️ 1. Content Development
 
Draft candidate questions, review, and update position descriptions.
Research races & candidates to identify and gather accurate information for all Arizona elections in 2026:
  • U.S. Congressional districts Statewide and legislative offices
  • County and city offices
  • School boards
  • Community college governing boards
  • Special districts (such as CAWCD, health care districts)
  • State ballot measures
  • Local propositions
  • Translate content or adapt materials to ensure Spanish-speaking voters have equitable access to VOTE411 information.
📞 2. Reach Out to Candidates
  • Contact candidates and encourage them to complete their VOTE411 questionnaires.
  • Build relationships and explain how this trusted, nonpartisan voters’ guide benefits both candidates and voters, especially in local and nonpartisan races where information can be hard to find and informed decisions matter most.
✅ 3. Provide Quality Control
 
Proofread and review League content for:
  • Accuracy and clarity
  • Nonpartisanship
  • Working links and correct headshots
  • Correct assignment of races and office titles
  • Preview races to check for anomalies and missing contests
  • Preview candidate submissions to ensure compliance with League Guidelines
📢4. Reach Voters Through Statewide Promotion and Marketing
  • Identify and contact media outlets for opportunities to place ads
  • Contact radio stations in rural communities
  • Research costs and impact of billboards and movie theater PSA’s
  • Identify potential sponsors
📣 5. Promote VOTE411 in Your Community
 
Help spread the word, so voters know where to find reliable election info:
  • Share at community events, local fairs, libraries, and schools
  • Include in newsletters, partner outreach, and social media
  • Support media promotion using LWVAZ materials
💻 6. Create Digital Content & Print Collateral
 
Develop and curate:
  • Short explainer videos and graphics“How to vote” and “what’s on your ballot” posts
  • Flyers, yard signs, and other print materials
🎓 7. Be a Community Educator
 
Host or support presentations to walk voters through how to use VOTE411 and why every election matters at:
  • Schools and colleges
  • Libraries and community centers
  • Community forums and tabling events
👥 8. Recruit Others
 
Help build a strong volunteer team:
  • Recruit local League members to support research, outreach, quality control, and promotion.
  • Local league involvement is critical to ensure we identify and cover races in their jurisdictions
